With LIC Digi Zone, Customers Can Now Buy Insurance Policies Online Soon
To improve its digital footprint, the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) of India launched the “Digi Zone” to improve its digital operations in the areas of sales and customer service.
The insurer said, “With the intention of becoming a technology-driven life insurer, LIC will offer information on LIC products and services through kiosks installed on the premises. Customers can use LIC’s Digi Zone to purchase policies online, pay a premium, and receive other services like Bien. Shortly after the inauguration, the operation was commissioned by walk-in customers who carried out digital transactions in the new “LIC Digi Zone”.
It was inaugurated by the President of LIC, Mr. R. Kumar, in the presence of the Directors General – Raj Kumar, Siddhartha Mohanty, BC Patnaik and C. Vikas Rao, Zone Director, West Zone and other senior LIC officials, on 29 December.
MR Kumar said, “The launch of LIC Digi Zone is a great day for our company. LIC plans to embark on the next wave of digital transformation to unlock several benefits of accelerating growth, satisfying customers, and improving the productivity and loyalty of intermediaries.
A few days ago, LIC also presented a Dhan Rekha plan. The plan takes effect from December 13, 2021. It is an unrelated and non-participating individual savings life insurance plan. The product has various advantages and unique features. There are special premium rates for women. The plan is authorized for the third sex. All the benefits of the plan are fully guaranteed.
You can get the minimum sum insured from ??2 lakh and there is no limit to take the maximum sum insured. The minimum age at entry varies from 90 days to 8 years depending on the length of the chosen policy. The maximum age at entry varies from 35 to 55 depending on the length of the policy chosen.
