Men’s basketball plays the second round of the playoffs on Friday February 25 against Midlothian.

The region’s playoff round begins at Forney High Friday at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the match must be purchased online. SSISD reports no cash on the door for the Wildcats’ second-round game against Midlothian.

Coach Brandon Shaver’s team enters the regional round rematch with the Panthers 27-9 on aggregate (district 10-2), fresh off Tuesday’s hard-fought win over Huntsville.

Sulfur Springs now has a rematch with Midlothian (20-14 overall, 9-3 district), the team that eliminated the Wildcats in the playoffs last year.

This match, like the one on Friday, took place in the second round.

Coach Shaver and his team need everyone on deck if they hope to beat a Panthers team that knocked out Mesquite Poteet 55-53 in the Bi-District Round on Tuesday in a game that ended on thread.

Friday’s round rematch between Sulfur Springs and Midlothian begins Friday, Feb. 25 at Forney HS at 8 p.m.

Again, tickets must be purchased online for the second round basketball game. No cash sales will be made during Friday’s contest.

Tickets must be purchased here.
