Subaru now has a new “Build And Price” online system that allows customers to shop from home, browse new models, and build and price vehicles online that are not currently in stock or even in stock. transit to the Subaru store.

Upstart, a leading AI lending platform, has announced that Subaru of America is the first partner in its new “Build and Price” system and will be added to the Subaru Certified Digital Tools program.

What does this mean for buyers of new Subaru models?

Built on Upstart Auto Retail’s innovative digital retail platform, Build and Price makes it easy to buy a new car before heading to the Subaru retailer. According to Upstart, the process allows customers “to go through the process of browsing, buying and creating offers online for vehicles that are not currently in stock or even in transit to the store. Subaru retailers can then work with customers on options and sourcing.”

You know how tough it is if you’ve purchased a Subaru Forester, Crosstrek, Outback and other new 2022 models. With inventory shortages underway for this year and next, “it will make it difficult for consumers to d buy the car they really want.” said Michia Rohrssen, Managing Director of Upstart Auto Retail.

The online build and price platform will allow customers to pre-build the year, model and trim level of the vehicle while making several other build selections. Customers will also see the prices associated with the build combination. Upstart says each submission includes relevant customer information, vehicle selection and build preferences.

Rohrssen said, “The Upstart Auto Retail Build and Price product is an innovative way to help customers get started online and for Subaru retailers to offer additional value early in the buying process.” Shane Fouch, General Sales Manager at Byers Subaru, said, “With the Build and Price product, we can now meet almost any customer vehicle request.

When will the new Build and Price system be available to customers?

The new Upstart Build and Price platform is coming soon. Customers will be able to build and price 2022 Subaru Forester, Crosstrek, Outback and other new models online that are not currently in stock or even in transit to the Subaru store.
