National Hires Brokerage Annuity Distribution Leader
Richard Porter has been selected to lead the brokerage annuity distribution channel for At national scale. In this role, Porter is responsible for distributing annuities through all brokerage/dealer channels, including banks, connecting houses and independent B/Ds.
Porter previously served as Division Vice President for the Advisor Channel at Prudential, focusing on expanding the distribution of Prudential’s annuity retirement income solutions while leading a team of wholesalers. Prior to this position, Porter practiced corporate law at the largest regional law firm in Louisville, Kentucky.
Porter fills the role previously held by Rona Guymon, who was selected to lead Nationwide’s annuity distribution team earlier this year.
Porter received his JD from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and holds Series 6, 7, 26, 63 and 65 licenses.
LPL Financial Names Chief Product Officer and National Sales and Marketing Leader
LPL Financial LLC announced leadership updates to the company’s management committee.
Kabir Sethi will join LPL in early May as Product Manager, assume responsibility for LPL’s technology capabilities and wealth management platforms. He will lead strategy, development and product management.
Besides, CEO LPL Matt Enyedi to transition from LPL business solutions to head of national sales and marketing. He will lead the teams responsible for developing LPL’s relationships with its advisors and institutions, with the goal of helping advisors deepen their relationships with their clients. Sethi and Enyedi will report to Dan Arnold, President and CEO of LPL.
Sethi comes from Merrill Lynch, where he was Head of Digital for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and oversaw digital platforms for the wealth management business. Previously, Sethi was responsible for consumer banking digital platforms and capabilities at Bank of America. He holds graduate degrees from Columbia University and the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, India, and holds Series 7 and Series 24 designations.
Enyedi started his career as a financial advisor. He joined LPL in 2003 and has held numerous positions since, most recently as Managing Director, LPL Business Solutions, where he was responsible for developing and deploying a suite of professional services to support advisors as business owners. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President, National Sales, where he led the company’s data analytics and business intelligence efforts and oversaw a team responsible for helping advisors develop their business and reach new customer segments. He was also previously responsible for the teams supporting RIA custody solutions and for high net worth clients at LPL.
Schroders appoints senior sub-advisor sales professional
Schröders announced that Tiffany Summers has joined the Sub-Advisor Sales team as Director of Salesreporting to Chris Moran, Chief U.S. Sub-Advisor. Summers will be located in Denver.
In his new role, Summers will focus on building Schroders’ ability to respond directly to client needs and expand the company’s sub-advisor sales efforts. She will manage existing strategic relationships and develop new partnerships in the insurance and financial services markets.
Summers joins Schroders from JP Morgan Asset Management, where she served as executive director, national accounts, insurance and sub-advisor. In this role, she managed corporate relationships and developed the client strategy to grow sales and partnerships in product investment management, distribution and marketing.
Previously, Summers was at Deutsche Asset Management, where she served as Director and Head of Defined Contribution-only investment business. She has over 25 years of financial services experience and holds a BS in Finance from Southern Illinois University.
Congruent Solutions Elevates North American COO
Congruent solutionsa provider of technology solutions and outsourced plan administration services to the U.S. pension industry, announced the promotion of Lucas Soucy as Chief Operating Officer, North America. Soucy previously served as Vice President, North America, and has over 22 years of experience in plan operations and administration.
Going forward, Soucy will oversee all back office operations, onshore and overseas, as well as sales, product support and relationship management. To strengthen the Soucy team in North America, Congruent also called on Michael Kiernan as Vice President of Sales.
Soucy joined Congruent Solutions in 2005 to help establish a retirement support services delivery center that focuses on providing transaction processing support to plan providers, archivists and TPAs. and compliance testing. He helped develop Congruent’s CORE Platform, a modular, cloud-based technology solution, and is a member of the SPARK Institute Board of Trustees.

Edelman Financial Engines appoints Chief Financial Officer
Edelman Financial Enginesan independent wealth planning and investment advisory firm, announced that Suzanne van Staveren joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officereffective immediately.
With over 20 years of experience in senior positions within the financial services industry, van Staveren will oversee a team of over 90 professionals across the finance, strategy and small pension teams.

Going forward, Di Lorenzo will be responsible for messaging, marketing and producing content designed to encourage participants to take control of their financial success. She received her JD from Georgia State University College of Law and her BS in Neuroscience from Furman University.
