BUT, Conforama, MDA Company, the Casino Group and Intermarché announce a new partnership for the purchase of technical goods*
with the creation of Sirius purchases
BUT, Conforama, MDA, the Casino Group and Intermarché announce a new partnership for the purchase of technical goods* with the creation of Sirius purchases, a central purchasing office. The partnership will be operational in time for the next procurement cycle of 2023.
The Sirius purchases the purchasing center will negotiate the terms of purchase of French brands with the largest international suppliers of household appliances*.
By combining the volumes of the French leaders in household equipment (BUT and Conforama), e-commerce (Cdiscount), food distribution (Casino Group and Intermarché) and local distribution of technical products (MDA-GPdis -Pulsate), Sirius purchases is positioned as a major player in technical goods and wishes to support its industrial partners to meet the commercial and environmental challenges of tomorrow.
This new partnership aims to optimize the purchases of all of its brands and to promote the development of responsible goods, in particular energy-efficient, eco-designed and repairable products.
Each brand will continue to manage its own stores and e-commerce sites independently, according to its own identity and its own commercial strategy.
Sirius purchases will replace Mano, the non-food purchasing center shared by Conforama and the Casino group.
