Aftermarket Sales Manager Wanted – TH Marine Supplies
TH Marine is looking for an Aftermarket Sales Manager to cultivate relationships with distribution and retail partners, grow our network within the outdoor industry and sell our products with placements that create competitive advantages for our company.
To successfully advance the company’s distribution and retail goals, the Aftermarket Sales Manager works closely with the TH Marine sales team, promotes knowledge of TH Marine products, maintains company presence at trade shows and works with the marketing team to create and execute sales plans. .
With nearly 50 years in business, TH Marine has become one of the largest manufacturers of boating and fishing accessories in the United States. In addition to supplying parts to virtually every boat manufacturer nationwide, TH Marine distributes parts through all major boating and fishing product distributors and retailers. Our products are available at points of sale all over the world.

Desired qualifications/skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a closely related field with at least three years of relevant B2B sales and industry experience; or equivalent combined education and work experience
- In-depth knowledge of maritime, one-step and e-commerce distribution channels
- Propensity to offer a customer-centric approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with existing accounts while engaging new clients
- Account management skills to achieve both client and business goals
- Ability to communicate effectively in external and internal communications
- Desire to cultivate a culture where others around you are motivated to do their best
- Ability to work well with others across a wide range of education and experiences
- Intrinsically motivated to succeed in work that requires both a creative and energetic approach
- Previous sales and sales management experience with a track record of success
- IT skills including Microsoft 365, CRM system and project tracking software
Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Become an expert with the TH Marine product line
- Develop an understanding of TH Marine’s aftermarket business
- Obtain forecast information from customers and report potential losses and gains using CRM software
- Create and execute a sales plan that works in conjunction with the marketing team to grow current customers and add new customers
- Collaborate with the marketing department to align efforts between the various aftermarket sales channels and e-commerce
- Regularly visit key accounts
- Develop, implement and manage a pricing strategy for each aftermarket segment
- Achieve company revenue and margin goals
- Work with sales reps to introduce new products and maintain our presence at annual trade shows
- Develop and diversify our clientele
- Assist in resolving quality issues, shipment discrepancies, and backorders
- Other miscellaneous skills including: tracking and closing, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, expanding product knowledge and building strong customer relationships.
